UPDATE: I bought 2 Jeff Dunham DVDs from Amazon because you can’t get them in South Africa yet. I bought “Spark of Insanity” and “Arguing with myself”.

The bad thing about him is, once I started watching these videos, I couldn’t stop. I’ve now wasted about 3 hours on YouTube watching as many Jeff Dunham videos as I can…

Hi I also saw the dead terrorist on youtube but would like to buy the DVD Spark of Insanity but are scared to do so because they say its a region 1 disc an my DVD player is for region 2 discs. Now i would like to know if it will play on my PC.What du you suggest

Hi Tinus. Most DVD players can play Region 1 DVDs. If they don’t play them at first, you can either just take them to the shop where you bought it and ask them to unlock it, OR, even easier, Google your make and how to unlock it.

It’s really easy, normally just a “hold select for 10 seconds, and then press 00000″.

I bought the region 1 disc from Amazon, and it works perfectly on 3 different DVD players (whoever I’ve lent it to, in other words).

Hallo James,

What did you pay for postage from Amazon to SA? And did you have to pay import duties or anything else? I saw them on Amazon, but has never bought through them.

Hi Elmari.

I’m afraid I can’t remember how much I paid. It was roughly JUST less than the actual DVDs, but it still worked out cheaper than buying them “locally”.

And, the import duty was about 20% (though I can’t remember that exactly as well).

Hi just to let everybody know ! I received my Jeff Dunham DVD and it works perfectly on my DVD player and PC without doing anything to the hardware

Thanks Tiffany. That’s actually very helpful, considering this time last year I couldn’t find the DVDs ANYWHERE! (They were a Christmas present last year).
